Field Trip

A Study in Contrasts

We've been going through old boxes in storage, trying to clean out... spring cleaning, if you will.  Hannah is completely disinterested and chooses to spend her time coloring in the activity book that one of the twins got for Christmas.

I came across one of my favorite toys from childhood, Fashion Plates, and it's right up Sophia's alley.

Sera, however chooses to play with one of Brian's old soccer games called Subbuteo.

They definitely have very distinct personalities!

Dear Mom,

When you purchased these ceramic egg jewelry holders in the early 80s, did you know I'd have 3 daughters one day?  And that pink and purple would be significant in the lives of two of them?

They've been passed along.

The First TInkerbell

This is the one that started it all.  I believe my parents got her for me a long, long time ago.  So long ago, in fact, that I don't remember getting her, just that she's always been there.  She is the one who started my Tinkerbell obsession.  And she's been well loved.  Notice the missing fingers and the three separate breaks in her wing.  Also, she's been decapitated once.  And there's a little paint that's been scraped off her hair.  But I love her still. She was my first and my favorite.
